A BETTER WAY TO BEGIN

Security isn't a setting.
It's a habit.

Self-custody means you hold the keys. Ledger helps keep your private keys offline, while your device gives you a dedicated place to review and approve transactions. Start with the fundamentals: keep your recovery phrase private, take your time, and verify what you see on your screen.

A GUIDE FOR THE BEGINNING

Confidence comes
from knowing the basics.

Welcome to your Ledger journey. Whether this is your first digital asset or your first hardware wallet, getting started should feel clear, considered, and entirely in your hands. Ledger.com/start brings the essentials together so you can move forward at a pace that feels right for you.

Begin by setting up your device with the official Ledger app. Follow each step on screen, and take the time to understand what your recovery phrase means. It is the backup to your wallet, so keep it written down, private, and offline. Ledger will never ask you to share it. Anyone who does is not Ledger.

As you explore, remember that self-custody is about choice and responsibility. Your private keys stay protected by your device; you review the details and choose when to approve a transaction. Start small, stay curious, and pause whenever something does not feel right. Learn the security fundamentals, use official Ledger resources, and build good habits from day one. You do not need to know everything to begin—you only need a secure foundation and the confidence to take the next step. Your assets, your decisions, your rules. A thoughtful start today can help shape every choice you make tomorrow.
